I came across this singing bird in a tree the middle of the night in a residential neighborhood. This is one funky bird! he's got so many different sounds hes making. The recording isn't as clean as reinsamba's legendary "nightingale", as there is a bit of traffic whine in the backround that comes in at times.

A night-time birdsong. A simple single bird singing at night. Recorded in the fields above my home at night. The bird seemed to be responding to a particularly bright light in the vicinity hence seeming daylight or even 'dawn'. Recorded adhoc using an iphone!. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. This is a bird - acrocephalus arundinaceus, who lives near the water, for example lake. This is recorded in poland, in kielce, in the park near the lake. For the background we can hear other birds singing.
